Carla is a friendly and enthusiastic occupational therapist who aims to enrich the lives of children of all abilities.

Carla works with children and their families using interactive and engaging play-based therapy to assist the child with overcoming barriers in order to reach their full potential. Carla has been an occupational therapist for over 20 years and has enjoyed working in a variety of clinical settings including hospital, community, ergonomics, and vocational rehabilitation.  This extensive occupational therapy experience has enabled Carla to think outside the box and look at interesting and fun ways to nurture a child using their strengths and interests; with the long-term goal of being a productive, confident person as they make their way to adulthood.

Carla enjoys working with the child’s family, and other clinicians including physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and psychologists to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach.
