Paula enjoys working with clients across the life span and has extensive experience engaging with young people who can be tricky to build a connection with. She is experienced working with children and adolescents with complex mental health concerns, which can impact their schooling, friendships, and relationships with their families. Paula is especially passionate about working collaboratively with children, adolescents, their families, and carers.
Paula is a compassionate, trauma-informed, and strength-based provisional psychologist with a background in Mental Health, Functional Recovery, and Behaviour Support. Paula’s integrative therapeutic approach, which she personalises to each client, includes Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy.
Paula creates a supportive, non-judgmental and collaborative environment to explore presenting concerns, identify therapeutic goals, and find practical solutions to increase wellbeing, resilience, and quality of life.
Outside of work hours, Paula enjoys being in nature and loves getting out camping, hiking, and finding waterfalls.
