Tia is trained in Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS) Level 1 and 2 and will shortly complete her Transition to Speech Generating Device course. Tia has experience using Key Word Sign (KWS) and Prolquo2go. She is currently training in Sounds-Write to support Literacy. Tia will be trained to perform the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule in October. She also has experience working with Proloquo2go. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, with a specialisation in early years language (6 years and under).
Tia enjoys working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. With a special interest in working with young children. And with people of all ages using AAC.
Tia strives to work in a client and family centred approach with a focus on real word functional activities. Tia loves getting out and doing sessions in your home, kindergarten, school, and local community such as libraries and shops.
