Alex is trained in the Sounds-Write Literacy Program and incorporates this evidence-based linguistics phonics approach into her spelling, reading, and writing therapy sessions.
Alex enjoys working with individuals of all ages and abilities with a particular interest in language and literacy due to her background working in educational settings.
Alex always maintains a kind, friendly and nurturing attitude to support clients. She is passionate about using a family-centred and multidisciplinary team approach by collaborating with children, families, and other therapists to best support each client’s unique goals. Alex values helping clients achieve these goals by incorporating fun, play-based, and enjoyable activities to assess and treat language, speech, social skills, and literacy difficulties.
