WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE FIRST VISIT?
On your first appointment with one of our Psychologists, you or your clients will ask you about any concerns you would like to work on as your goals. Together or with a parent or guardian, you will then go through your history and why you have come to see a Psychologist. This session lasts for 60 mins in clinic, 45 minutes face to face and 15 minutes documentation and helps to provide a clear picture of what areas your child needs assistance with.
Our therapists tailor each appointment to their client’s needs; this initial appointment may suggest a variety of formal and /or informal assessments and clinical observations.
Following your assessment and diagnosis, our Psychologists will prepare a report if required, and a comprehensive therapy programme will be tailored for your needs and goals.
